This week's question:
Are there any book to movie adaptations where you think the movie is better than the book?
This is actually an easy one for me. The one that comes straight to mind is Coraline. You might call me biased since I saw the movie first, but I'm being honest here. The movie was extremely faithful in its adaptation, but it still expanded upon the story and gave you more than the book did, so I have to say I like the movie better for that reason.
I haven't read the book, and probably should at some point. Still, interesting.

I think that i had to either read the book or watch the movie (i can't remember which) in english at school and they made us tear it apart and we spent so long on it that i can't even think about the book without shuddering. So i can't really say which is better because i have a bias of now hating one of them (can't remember which again, sorry!) but its good you have one that you prefer the movie of to the books! I can't think of any i prefer yet.

I didn't know that Coraline had a book. *shame face* I haven't seen the movie but my kids loved it. :) Maybe now I will check it out.

Hi, Joana, new Bloglovin' follower here! I have yet to read or watch Coraline, but my daughter has seen the movie and thinks it's the freakiest thing out there! She just hates button eyes on anything, and it's so funny because she's not really scared of anything!!!
