Question of the Week: Before blogging (dark times people!) how would you find out about new books or did you?
Honestly? I mostly just trawled my local library for books that they got in new. They were pretty good at getting new ones in, at least from authors they already carried, and even if the book wasn't new (as in it came out within the last month) it was new to me.
Hopping through. I'd say the library was my main source of new books too. I loved their book suggestions.

I hardly ever went to the library unfortunately, but somehow, as a child, I preferred not borrowing books because I became quite possessive of books I liked! I never would have wanted to give them back xD I'm a new Twitter follower! Thanks for sharing :) I hope you have a great weekend!

I love the library! I used to go every week, sometimes twice a week. They were so good at giving recommendations! I just wish the library here was as good as the library I had where I grew up. New bloglovin' follower. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteI rarely got to go to my town library but we did have a little mobile library that came to our village. It was mostly books aimed at pensioners though-like cozy murder mysteries! Still, I read anything I could. I'm an existing follower.

Surprisingly, I never indulged too much in my local library. I always had better luck with some nearby bookstores. Ithink because my local library was so small :p
